PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Champion 40906 is our Skybird Clay Target Thrower, which operates on a 3/4 Cock Trap mechanism. This model is equipped with a unique one-way clutch which is designed to allow the throwing arm to travel in only one direction. When a clay target is thrown, the momentum of the throwing arm carries it to approximately an 8 o'clock position. Unlike conventional models, the one-way clutch prevents the spring from returning the arm back to the twelve o'clock position and stops it at the maximum distance traveled - a location nearer to the setter. The advantage of this design is that it requires lesser effort and significantly shorter distance to fully prepare the trap for the next throw.
