The SureFire EP3 Sonic Defenders are crafted to shield your ears from Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) while ensuring that routine sounds or conversations in loud surroundings aren't affected. With its double-flanged-stem feature, it offers a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 24 dB.

These defenders allow safe sound frequencies to flow into the ear canal. However, sounds that could be potentially damaging (above 85 dB) are attenuated via our unique noise-reduction filter. The attached filter caps that come with the EP3s provide added protection by blocking lower-level noises, such as those encountered on an airplane where ambient noises or conversations are not vital.

Manufactured from a soft, sturdy, hypoallergenic polymer, the Sonic Defenders promise comfort throughout the day and extend the product lifespan (up to 6+ months based on usage and maintenance).
